Our client, a large complex organisation is seeking a Financial accountant for a contract role. DUTIES: Management Accounts. · Extraction of data on a daily basis from SAP Financials and export data in report format. · To lead in the monthly management accounts, journal, accruals and prepayments and posting where necessary on SAP Financials. · Prepare and provide monthly analysis of expenditure and expenditure and trend analysis, identify /explain variances. · Run monthly reports from SAP HR to excel, identifying new starter/leavers and reason for variances. · Prepare and validate draft monthly Performance report for Senior Management. · Liaise with Service Managers to ensure expenditure data is understood, this facilitates management in achieving their responsibilities and facilitate effective decision making. · Review YTD expenditure and projections on a monthly basis, compare with actual projections. Liaise with Service Managers on expenditure trends and projections and request explanations on variances. Year End Accounts. · Lead out on Year End accounts. · Provide year end training to Finance staff. · Provide assistance and respond to all queries from Corporate Finance on Year End accounts, accruals, prepayments etc. Budget Setup. Fixed Assets.
