What you need to know. You will work as Engineering Manager and will work for our Food client based in the Co. Cavan region. You will ensure all equipment and is running at maximum efficiency and will ensure the maintenance programme is effective resulting in high quality production of products. You will lead a team of engineering managers and technicians. You will report to the Operations Manager. This is a permanent position with excellent opportunities for career progression within a large organization. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities. Ensure engineering activities are conducted in compliance with Health and Safety regulations. Communicate with Health and Safety in regards all engineering and maintenance activities. Ensure the cost-effective service delivery of contractors across the site. Communicate with the quality, operation’s and engineering departments to improve equipment effectiveness. Assist in the diagnosing and resolutions of engineering problems in a cost-effective manner. Ensure all aspects of the engineering function comply with customer quality standards. Manager continuous improvement projects and projects on the reliability of plant and services. Ensure the site is complying with all legislation and insurance requirements. Assist the maintenance manager with budgets. What are we looking for? Desirable: Educated to Masters or Degree level in a relevant engineering discipline (mechanical Electrical Engineering. 5-7 years’ experience ideally in a food manufacturing environment.
