HEAD CHEF - DELUXE HOTEL CO. MONAGHAN. Great opportunity for a Head Chef in County Monaghan to work for a prestigious hotel property. The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the kitchen to deliver an excellent guest experience, training staff, controlling costs and covering all business needs. Key Responsibilities include: " Providing quality food, in line with the high quality standards expected by our guests. " Devising exciting menus. " Ensuring health and safety standards within the kitchen. " Ensuring that customers are served great quality food in a manner that is timely. " Recruiting & Training. " Providing support & guidance to the kitchen brigade in other sections as required. " Achieving food cost targets by effectively managing stock control, production and menu engineering. " Ensuring all operational, quality and administrative functions are carried out correctly. " Making sure staffing levels are maintained to cover business demands. Requirements for the Role: " Professionally qualified chef with a minimum of 5 years' professional experience in a 4*/5* hotel as a Head Chef. " Must have Restaurant / Lounge Food / Extensive Conference & Banqueting experience. " Have a passion for food and very strong in Restaurant standards to 1-2 AA Rosette. " Driven by creative and all fresh foods. " First class communicator with a hands on approach for this busy role. " Must have formal HACCP training & experience. " Must be target driven, have an excellent understanding of finances, costs , labour control, time management. " Hard-working and ambitious and willing to go the extra mile in pursuit of delivering exemplary food. " To create an environment which promotes employee morale and encourages the team to have pride and commitment in their work. " Be accountable and resilient and have the ability to work under pressure. Salary: €55,000-60,000.
