What is the purpose of the job? In this multi-faceted role, the Marketing & Communications Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation and execution of all Comline marketing and promotional activity in Ireland. Reporting directly to Comline Ireland General Manager and working closely with a UK-based Marketing & Communications Manager and the wider Marketing Team, the new Marketing & Communications Coordinator will play a lead role in driving marketing initiatives in support of Comline Ireland’s key customers and in-line with the organisation’s diverse brand and product framework. We are looking for an engaging personality who demonstrates strong communication and impressive levels of client support whilst balancing a diverse and fast-paced workload. This role will involve regular domestic travel to locations around Ireland and occasional travel to Comline’s UK headquarters. Scale & Authority (e.g. size of budget/ team etc): Financial: Responsible for working within a formal marketing budget and for tracking spend. People: - 0 Direct Reports. - Reports directly to Comline General Manager. - Works closely with the UK Marketing Team. What needs to be done? (Tasks/ Activities. Customer Engagement & Support. Provide a consistent marketing point of contact for key Comline customers across Ireland. Consistently communicate and engage with these key customers to drive and implement Comline marketing and promotional activity. This remit will include regular visits to key customers. Marketing Team Collaboration. Working with, and as part of, the European Comline Marketing Team to collaborate on materials and deliver key projects required for Comline Ireland. Internal Collaboration & Communication. Working closely with colleagues and other departments (e.g. sales, product, warehouse) to execute accurate, on-time marketing and promotional activity which is then effectively communicated across the organisation. Specific emphasis on utilising the Yammer platform as a means of internal communication. Delivery & Fulfilment. Working closely with suppliers and Comline Ireland warehouse staff to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials to key customers. Follow-ups with customers to ensure receipt and effective use of provided materials. Brand Promotion & Protection. Working to promote Comline’s brand values and ensuring that all Comline marketing and promotional activity falls within clearly defined brand guidelines. Copywriting. The creation of interesting and engaging copy which is used to populate promotional email campaigns, letters, printed materials, promotions etc. Exhibitions & Events. Involvement in the planning and execution of industry exhibitions and/or Comline events (e.g. Auto Expo Dublin. Email Marketing. Responsibility for developing and delivering e-mail marketing content to Comline Ireland customer using Mailchimp. Budget Tracking. Tracking Comline Ireland marketing budgets to ensure compliance and full accountability. Customer Engagement & Support.
